A girl with shiny black hair and dark blue eyes walked into the cabin she not as much as 5 people in the cabin, she chose any empty bunk caverd her name iinto it and sat down she thought her self "Will i make any friends this year" her boyfriend Danny did not go here she was sad and she missed him. But all she wanted to do was make atleast 1 friend

"Hi!" I smiled noticing a new girl walk in. "I'm Scarlet, welcome to the Artimes cabin," I smiled again. I wasn't exactly this peppy but, I needed a friend, a girl could try.

She saw the girl Kassie was deaf but she could read lips she said in sign language and she spoke at the same time "Hello im Kassie" she said putting her arms down. she satrted to unpack again

I didn't even realize it but I saw the girl was deaf, in perfect sign language I said, "So where are you from?"

In sighn lanuage she said "Im am from Ausralia" she said looking and at the girl she spoke "And u" she could talk but not hear

A look of sadness hit my face as I signed back, "I don't know... I was adopted when I was a baby... but if you want to know where I was raised by my adoption family it was North Carolina," I put down my hands and waited for Kassie to say something.

"Oh well I haven't signed for years, my best friend was deaf," I said knowing she could only read lips. It felt strange to talk to her.

She laughed "my boyfriend cant do sighn laugage so when hes around me he carrys a whitebored around" she said giggleing

"That must be embarrasing, everybody can see your convorsation!" I laughed thinking about if my ex-boyfriend wrote something embarrassing on a white board and everybody saw. "Has he wrote anything embarrassing to show the world?" I asked, of course jokingly.
