Ashleigh walked into Athena's cabin. She looked around as she tossed her backpack carelessly onto an empty bunk. She walked out again to a chestnut mare that was waiting outside. "You okay Wonder?" she muttered quietly as she stroked Wonder's muzzle.

A boy with black hair was walking up to the cabin calmly when he spotted Wonder. He made sure he was careful walking next to the horse just in case it kicked out at him. He never really knew why animals did not like him. He saw Ashleigh in front the horse and talking to it. He smiled slightly as he walked by.

Wonder gave a loud neigh when she spotted Vladimir. She pawed the ground with her nostrils flaring. Ashleigh turned around and spotted Vladimir. "Who are you?" she asked coldly, knowing that Wonder was angry at him.

"My names Vladimir. No need to be cold. I'm not going to hurt anyone. I'm just passing by." Vlad said calmly as he looked at them. He sighed softly. "As i thought... Another animal that hates me for no reason that i know of..." He muttered to himself.

Ash's eyes narrowed. She turned her back on Vladimir and patted Wonder reassuringly "Its alright girl. Dont run off. Your no racehorse anymore." She then turned to Vladimir again "Whatever. You just startled my horse I think. So.. where am I?" she asked. She had just been told to go into a van with Wonder. A couple of hours later, she had been dropped of hundreds of miles away from home, at Camp Half-Blood. Half what?

"Oh sorry. I didn't mean to scare anyone. But this is Athena's Cabin." Vlad asked calmly. He looked at Wonder curiously but then shook his head slightly. 'I'll ask her later...' He thought to himself calmly.
A loud screech came from inside the cabin.
"Uh oh..." Vlad sighed. "Give me one second." He said before darting into the cabin. After a few seconds he walked back out with a young golden eagle with a bandaged wing on his arm. "Sorry about that. She gets a little lonely if i'm gone for to long." He said petting the eagle's head softly.
The eagle let Vlad pet him but watched Ashleigh carefully.

Ash nodded slowly and thoughtfully "S'pose Athena's my mum.. Pretty cool ain't it girl?" she stroked Wonder. She then looked around "I guess they took Pride back to Whitebrook.." she told the mare. Ashleigh then turned to Vladimir "I'm Ashleigh but some people call me Ash. This is Ashleigh's Wonder, a Thoroughbred. She won the Kentucky Derby, Belmont and Breeder's Cup a few years back."

Vlad nodded. "Nice meeting you both. This is Ezio." He said nodding the the eagle. "I thought i recognized her. My dad loves her. I'm sorry i'm not much of a race fan but what is she doing here?" He asked curiously.
Ezio looked at Vlad and chirped a little when her named called.

"Ah ok.." Vlad nodded slightly looking at Wonder then to Ash. "So are Thoroughbreds the only type of horse you work with or.." He asked curiously but calmly.
(Nope... Heard about it though... my friend sorta wants me to read it... but i'm not to into thoroughbreds... i like Appys and Gypsy Vanners...)
