Kayne was sitting on his bed messing with what looked like a metal ball. It had different markings on it. He pressed each marking randomly as it gave a soft glow. He muttered something under his breath as he moved it around trying to figure out how to open it.

Serenity knocked on the cabin door which was open, and walked in. "Hey" she said. Kayne out of all the Ares kids she liked. Not like like. But as almost a brother like. He was -from what she knew- the melloest of all the Ares cabin. She was also friends with Clarisse, but more so with Kayen. "whachya doin'?"

Kayne looked away from the metal ball. "Hey Serenity..." He said calmly as he put the ball down. "Just messing around with a puzzle Vlad let me borrow... Its sorta hard..." He said with a sigh. "So What you up to?" He asked a little curiously yet bored.

She nodded "Ahh I see.. hes' just full of tricks aint he?" she laughed her soft bell laugh and sat down beside him. "Not to much i guess. Your lucky at least you have this to do." she gestured to the ball. "All I've got is training, battling and a sea of water to play with.." she laughed again... "Gets kinda boring."

Kayne chuckled softly. "Ya he is.." He said as he took the ball and handed it to her. "Try it. I already opened it twice.But the thing is there is something always new in it. Don't ask me how it does it just does." He said shrugging and thought for a moment. "If you do with certain friends it most likely wouldn't get boreing... Try something new when you do those things."

She took the ball and looked perplexed. Open it? how? Then kayne spoke and she was even more perplexed. That was the most sensitive thing she had ever heard anyone say. She smiled "So true...Always true." she looked down to the bal and frowned. she squeezed it and though open?please? she looked back down, and to her surpise it did.

"How did you... Now thats a cheat." He said chuckling a little but smiled. He looked into the open ball and inside was a small necklace. It had a metal dolphin as the charm and it moved slightly before glowing a silver color then stopped. "Cool.." He said calmly.

She pucked his arm lightfully and playfully. "Is not.." she too looked into the box. "wow......so....beatifull" she wispered.

"Ow... That hurt..." He said jokingly but chuckled softly. "Ya it is.." He said picking it up and putting it around her neck. Once he clipped it on he let go of the chain and took the ball softly from her. He pushed a marking making it close.
