Jayko walked into the kitchen. "He's not coming back home until before lunch tomorrow." he told his mother
Danju followed his mother before glancing at Xemu

Sarah nodded as she sat the food on the table.
Xemu followed, glancing at Ash. He took a spot at the table.

Jayko and Danju sat down at their usual spots at the table
Ash didn't see Xemu's glance as she sat down next to him and Jayko

"Help yourselves." Sarah said as she took a seat.
Xemu sighed and grabbed a bowl of corn and put a couple spoonfuls on his plate, then sat it back down.

Jayko, Ash, and Danju put some food on their plate before digging in hungrily. Ash gave a small smile when she took a bite of the meat. "This is nice Sarah." she commented, swallowing. Jayko nodded. "It is." he agreed
(Ash~ *sigh* It's clear that we don't have the same eating habits as you do..
Jayko~ Yeah.. Sorry I think?)

(Probably, but Xemu is a lot more refined than his family... Same with Genesis.)
Xemu started eating. "This is good, mom." he said, nodding.
Sarah smiled. "And you are the one who said I couldn't cook." she said before eating herself.
"You have improved since then." Xemu said.

Soon the plates were empty and bellies were full. "Thanks for dinner." Ash said quietly

"It's nothing." Sarah said, smiling.
"If you don't mind, I'm going to go help the boys feed the Pegasuses. I want to say hi to them." Xemu said, picking up his plate and holding out a hand to take Ash's.
Sarah eyed him suspiciously before putting her plate on top of Xemu's. "Only if you put my plate in the dishwasher." she said, smiling still.

Jayko and Danju glanced at each other before grinning. They both took their plates and put them on Sarah's plate. "Thanks big guy." Danju said cheekily before running outside.
Ash gave Xemu her plate with a nod of thanks
