Well, at least you admit it.
The site isn't even a month old yet, but some good public-relations education would not hurt one bit at this point. Because if you expect people to happily go through the trouble of emailing you every time your trigger-happy finger hits the ban button because you're a "ban first, ask questions later" kinda guy, then you are in for a rude awakening as you lose players. Furthermore, if you cannot read those comments and objectively see how they appear to the rest of us who see only text and not the true voice behind them, then there's nothing any of us can say to help you improve the way you treat your players.
And that's all I have to say on the matter, as I'm sure you'll have a snarky reply in no time, complete with sarcastic icons.
