A lone girl stood at the lake shore, her grey eyes trained on the water. She wore a dark green cloak that covered her usual armor. A hood was drawn over her head, hiding her long black hair that was tied in a careless ponytail. Sighing, she tore her gaze away from the water and started walking slowly at its edge.

A boy walked to the lake, an almost lifeless gaze in his eyes. He looked at the girl and stopped.

A sudden noise alerted the girl and she turned her head slightly in the boy's direction.

(Final Fantasy. Noct is an actual Final Fantasy character. Cloud is another one. Along with Denzel... And Xemu modeled her character after Cloud's best friend Zack... Yes, we all are Final Fantasy geeks...)
He met her gaze and held it.
