she shook her head "I don't read them on purpose. Only if i can feel a presence trying to tell me something, or i really need to tell something to someone. Or if i feel an evil or uncomfortable vibe from the person im with."

She paused. her mind slightly reached out toward her. Nyoka was confused and scared. She was having a mental war with herself. Just like Serenity.
