I looked at her. "Its alright. I know you didn't know and some Fathers don't quite get the truth." I said with a slight smile. "The missionary I was in was in Scotland. When ever I referred to the Olympian gods, I was punished. Although the punishments came form a long family rivalry too.."

she sighed "okay... she faced him, tuning her body completly. " I grew up in a normal town, and had a normal family -as far as familys go as normal anyway. It was just me, my brother Chase, mom and dad. Normal. ONe day, dad died, and mom confessed after his funral that he wasn't are dad. Didn't tell us who was. Two years later, she died too. Ever since then me and Chase were on the run, searching for our dad, and fighting monsters that attacked us. Now we're here."

I sighed. "Now we have confessed to the higher power, let's swim in holy water." I said, trying to make a joke to lighten the mood. I took a necklace off my neck that had a small wooden cross on it and handed it to her. "That's my gift to you." I said.
