Alexander nodded to the others and stayed quiet, listening to them. He watched Mannah calmly still saying nothing.

Mannah layed down stil tense.It took alot for her to trust someone-even if that someone just kind of saved her life.

Alexander took a knife out an cut the bandaged carefully. He gently cleared away the bandage and he muttered something under his breath. Red smoke formed on his hand and jumped on to Mannah softly. "Just stay still..." He said watching the smoke roll around the wound.

Mannahs eyes widend as the smoke went onto her body but she obayed alexander.Slowly her side began to stitch close but Mannahs eyes became alarmed as she reconzied what kind of magic it was.She looked to Alexander and gulped"What price must i pay?"SHe whisperd.Some people she knew could have a magic that heals many wounds and sometimes brought others back from the brink of death.Yes that magic could do amazing things but you dont get anything from that magic without giving something in return.This she thought,Was that magic

"You pay nothing. I do." Alexander said as he closed his bright blue eye and the smoke started to disappear slowly. "Dont worry. My magic is different then others." He said calmly still.

Mannah felt better then she had in years but it was a physical refilef not mental.She sat up and leaned towards Alexander"Thank you...i dont hold much sympathy but as of now i do for you..Im sorry for what healing me has cost you"She said in a kind voice,it sounded strange to her ears,she hadn't used a kind voice or words for years.

Mannah nodded the kindness almost disapearing once more behind the mask years of hardship and death had built.She gave Alexander a small smile,she admired people who took pain in stride.Matching his soft tone she said"Why did you help if it gives you pain?"
