Jose leaned agansit a tree,well it wsnt just any tree it was Serenitys"He smiled thinking of that day,where they had just played around climbing trees like childern.The day he had given her the rose.Jose pulled back his jacket reavling on his right arm a elgant outline of a rose that crawled down hsi arm,vines wrapped around it,the head of the flower resting in his palm.The only colour was the rd tinged petals at the top.Shimmers of silver apeared and disapeard throughout the flower tatto,ever since he enchanted it so that if Serenity ever needed him all she had to do was talk to the glass rose he given to her.Jose lifted his hand to his lips taking a long drag from the ciggerate that he had alreadly lit.He pulled down his jacket arm exhaling a could of smoke.The smoke twisted in the wind becoming a figure of a gilr with short hair.The details cleared more and all though he already knew who the gilr would be his smile widend.Serenity.The wind grew stronger,blowing away the girl of his hearts desire.

Serenity walked up to his left. Seeing the smoke -but not the image- her eyes narrowed.
"Jose.." She said. Her eyebrows lifed in question.

"ahh my little pixie"he smiled taking another drag.Seeing her eyes narrow he smiled sheepsihly"nasty habit i know"he winked at her finshing off the ciggerate,his spanish accenct very clear in his voice.Flicking the finshed ciggerate into the afternoon sky it burst inbto flames leaving ash in its wake,returning to earth.

(well go back now ) He walked away from her tree,well her and began pacing looking abnormally nervouse. "yes..i did.."he ran his fingers through his dark hair,bitting his lip.Relasing his hold he turned to her looking up at her beatiful face.Jose let out a shakey breath. |

"Why are you so nervous?" She said reading his face easily. "Wait....your not about to break out and say your gay are you?" SHe bust out, the giggled. "Sorry, sorry...that was mean.." She worked to keep her face straight, then studied his face more closly. Jumping down form the tree she walked over to him.
"Jose...are you okay?" she asked seriously.

His smile was fleeting"no..no im not gay."Jose reached out as to stroke her face but stopped finger tips inchs from her skin.Dropping his hand he sighed and strode away from Serenity.Back to her he let out a frustrated sigh"why is this so diffcult?"he mumbled to himself.Normally he was over flowing with confidence but now....Steeling himself jose turned to Serenity,his normal cockyness evaporated.Slowly he made his way back to her.
"i know that there are many things in your life going on...i know that you have more then one boy issues going on...but i just want you to know..."he tooka deep breath locking eyes"I like you serenity,so much that it might be on the point of love.i know that crazy to say for we only just met not to long ago but my gift,becasue of what i can do i know people.i know you.I know you on a deep level not just because i can see your past but i have seen your mind,your heart.I like what i found there Ser.....and i dont want to let you go."he took her hand softly with his"be with me Serenity and i can be there for you.I can heal you ,or at least help you heal the wounds your past created.I cant make you like me...and if you dont want to be with me i understand,im just letting you know......and i also want you to know that no matter what happens i'll always stand by you,i'll always be there for you."

serenity staggered back slightly from his heavy meaningful words. She herself couldn't find what to say. She looked up into Jose's eyes -not really at her own will- and knew he would see a vision, weather of her past or futur. She'd looked into his eyes because she'd felt an impulse to do so. Suddenly, as if remembering, she knew what it was he mihgt see.
It was the future becuase she'd never ahd a memory of this.
Serenity was walking hand-in-hand with a boy along the shore of the beach. The boys face was not visible, but he was clearly taller then her. They were both talking and laughing, but there was no sound. They then stopped, and faced the water. Serenity leaned her head in his shoulder. Slowly the saound cam in. At first you could only hear the crashing of the waves, but then, what tuned that out, was the sound of the boy saying her name softly. He had no accent.
Serenity fell back, astonished.
