*sigh* It clearly says in the rules that family members are exception of the 1.2 rule. You should apply if more people use the same computer.
As for textspeak, it isn't an absolute rule, it says "too much textspeak" is bad. I think it's a pretty sane rule, because some people just go overboard. Don't worry though, you won't get a warning if there's little textspeak in your post. ^^ As long as others can understand what you're saying.
