Alone

[Shane]

Shane walked through the forest quietly. It was nice out and quiet. The sunlight filtered through the leaves creating dappled shadows. He smiled. He had given it to Annahbeth. He hadn’t chickened out. It felt great. He stopped and closed his eyes for a moment.

A shadow moved behind him. A boy smirked as he crept up on Shane. He waited playing with the daggers. Daggers are fun. He attacked him suddenly cutting his back and shoulders.

Shane fell forward with a yelp in surprise of the attack. He rolled away only to be kicked. He rolled again and got up. He was gone…? Shane turned slowly. His back hurt.

The boy smiled and attacked him again cutting, stabbing, kicking, and slashing with practiced ease. Shane didn’t stand a chance but he did cut his side deeply before the boy knocked Shane’s knife away.

Shane lay there in pain. He looked up at the boy. “Why….?”

The boy knelt and pushing him onto his back. “You choose the wrong girl” he put a note on his chest. “Goodbye” he stabbed him and walked away.

[Jatta]

*walks into the clearing where shane was, and sees him bleeding everywhere* "oh my gods!! what happened Shane?"

[Shane]

Shane closed his eyes "Not....sure..." he whispered.

On the note in black letters it read: For Jatta.

I did this for you. He was going to choose Annahbeth.

On the back in red lettering spotted with Shanes blood in said:
Annabeth

(Lol he apparently doesnt know I got 'REPLACED' as you put it)

[Jatta]

"oh no.... wheres annahbeth?" *looks around and yells for annahbeth* "annahbeth! we need you!!"

[Jatta]

(oh yea, definately, but i already know who did it! but i wont give it away, i promise!)

[Annahbeth]

hears jatta and runs to the sound

[Jatta]

"come here!" *she screams, with tears coming down her face* "it's shane, i found him here with this note." *gives the noteshe found on shane to annahbeth to read*

[Annahbeth]

reads the letter"oh my gods!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

[Jatta]

*looks up at her, her eyes red from crying* "w-we have to find out who did this. but first we have to bring him to the infirmary..." *looks down at shane* "come help me pick him up..."

[Shane]

Shane moans quietly. (didnt know what to put)
