Jatta sat up in a tree, holding her phone in both of her hands. She had went deep into the woods, where nobody even knew existed besides her, Chiron, and the gods. She kept her eyes fixed on the phone's screen, and one contact was on it. She was wishing she could call, or that he would call her. Some things she wished she could just, do, and not have an issue with it. So, she just sat there wanting to call, but not calling out of a sudden cowardice she never had before...

Seth had sat there for 30 minutes debating whether or not he should call Jatta. He had sworn to himself that he wouldn't have anything to do with her when he wrecked her life. But he couldn't do it any more. He felt like he was on the verge of shattering into millions of little pieces. He had to heat her voice, even if she was yelling at him. Seth pressed the call button.

Jatta's cell rung, and she didn't look at who it was calling. She wouldn't, couldn't, do it. So, she just answered. "Hello?" she said, her voice shaky.

This was the moment. He could hang up or pick up a conversation. He closed his eyes at the sound of her voice and rolled over the options. "Jatta." he said. His voice was soft and sounded like he was picking out his words carefully, even though it was one name. The name of his love, the girl who meant the world to him.

Jatta closed her eyes as she heard him say her name, keeping from tearing up. She could hang up right now, but she couldn't do it. She needed to at least hear his voice. She didn't reply, but kept the phone held up to her ear.

Seth waited a moment to see if she'd say something. He was expecting her to explode on him. Maybe she was giving him the silent treatment. He shrugged the thought away. "Jatta..... I've missed you.." he said. He couldn't think of much to say without it being awkward. He really did miss Jatta. She was his life source.

Jatta smiled as he said it to her, and she wiped her eyes. "I've missed you too..."she said in a quiet, shaky voice.

Seth listened to her voice and let it sink into his mind before he said anything. He thought of anything to say, his mind couldn't think of anything to say without breaking. "How.. are you? How's camp going?" he asked carefully.

Seth put the phone closer to his ear. He sighed. 'What's wrong?" he asked. If it was Jasper, he'd didn't know what he do...
