She smirked, turning back around again. Her back to Jasper, she twisted the shard of obsidian that was in her pendant between her fingers. She tugged it, and the back tore apart, and she held it up at her side. "I may have already told you this, but the shard is sort of like a tracking device. Whoever has the counterpart diamond to it always knows where this pendant is, and the same vice-versa."

Jasper slowly picked it up and froze when he saw a thin shadow coming out of Jatta. " Erm. I presume that's the somebody that was talking to me?" Of course, he didn't know that the pendant was a key to her past.
