Serenity walked along the shor line by herself. She wasn't doing anything but that. Walking. Except, of course, thinking.
She was thinking of just about everything. Her past life. One that held her mother and father. Her other life. The one before she'd died. The one where she love Myrnin. And Kayne. And then there was this new life. This life that held Jose. But something was wrong.
She loved Jose, there was no doubt about that. But there was many different kindsof love. Some were strong enough to last forever, bonding two people together. Some were the love of a family. Her love for Jose was hard to desipher.
After wha had happened between them, she was no loner sure. She knew it was the right choice to do that with him, and the right time...but she didn't think that really....mattered anymore.

She stopped in the sand. She used to love coming here. To this very spot by the lake. It held so many memorys. Good and bad. Though even the bad ones seemed better now.
This was the spot where se and Myrnin had most of there worst fights. Where the had most of there apologys as well. She remembered them all so clearly...

"Absolutely nothing" Myrnin said again with a sigh. He knew she was trying to help but that made him feel wose. "Other than Im a crazy idiot" he muttered to himself softly still looking at the stars which semed so distant...so cold.
this she heard. "What?" she looked at his face which was still turned away. "A crazy idiot?Why would you say that?Your are not!" she had to stop herself before she said anything she didn't want to.
"Trust me,you are far from being a 'crazy idiot'!" she said trying to help him,and also trying to calme herslef down...again. "if you were a crazy idiot, i wouldn't be here right now.i'd be like some of the other people who think you are a crazy idiot,and avoid you.but thats because i would have beilived rumors.which i don't." she said softly,still not looking at him but at the water strait ahead. "If I don't beilive you are...Then why do you?Do you beilive the rumors people say about you?Why?" she said finlay turning to look at him with eyes that brimmed with tears,and an experssion that might even get Clarisse to confesse.
"Says the girl who backed away scared yesterday" Myrnin replied flatly still not looking at her. "Im crazy. I know I am. I do hear what people say. Im wierd. Im crazy. Im insane. Unpredicatble. Dangerous." he said bitterly then hit the sand "And I know its true" He ignored her other question.[/colour]

Myrnin stepped away from them a new look in his eyes. A dangerous one. "I said no"
"Ugh,you know,you don't really scare me.now come ON!please,just go and et looked at,im not asking you to stay,just to get treated!" she said despreatly.she knew that not very deep down.she was scared.very very scared.
Myrnin glared "Why should I? I dont like it there. I can take care of myself" he snapped his free hand moving to his pocket.
Im sure you can but i still thing you should get looked at!an i think that beacuse you in obvouse pain!" she screamed at him.
Myrnin narrowed his eyes at her and clutched something in his pocket.
"Myrnin....PLease."


"evil little..." she mummbled under her breath. "fine." she looked up at him her lipsset in a straight line her eyes lit with determenation. "why do you keep running?" there! she'd finaly said it!

Running?" Myrnin asked in surprise.
She looked down he didn't get it...."Yeah running....you know..from me..." she wispered the end.
Myrnin looked away "Thats...cause......" he stopped then whispered to himself "I dont want to hurt you" and I dont know what to do
She rolled her eyes. she heard that before. 'Yeah well there more ways then one to hurt someone you know." her voice wavered and she looked out to the lake.
"Yeah? Well you'd know right?" Myrnin glared then turned away. "You asked"
SHe looked at him, afraid that she'd lose him yet agin... "Thats...thats not what i ment....Mynin, you had a question too remember?what was it? and you catn stallwith that 'Ladies First crap ether, I alradey asked mine."
"Already have the answer" Myrnin turned to walk away.
"Oh breally?"she steped in front of him to block his path. "And that would eb?And if you don't tell me the answer, atleast tell e the question?I told you mine."
"That your in love" Myrnin said suddenly and brushed passed her. "Just not with me" he walked away.


Tears were sliding down Serenitys' face. By now she had fallen to her knees, arms laying limply by her sides. She had no control over the water running from her eyes, but there was no sound eminating from her.
Silently, she stood. She had to do this. She hadn't in so long, it felt like a sin to her.
She slipped of her shirt and skirt, leaving her in her bra and underwear. She walked silently the few feet to the shorline. Then leaped into the water. She swam around for a few mintues, before just floating on her back along the surface. Her eyes closed, her memory blank...Nearly.

A boy walked down the sandy path to the lake. This lake...This lake that used to symbol so much to him. And if he was being truthful with himself, still did. Always would.
He made it down to the shore line. And just stood there. Not even facing the lake. But the cabin in front of it. He looked down and away suddenlty angery. Then he saw them.
Foot steps. Tiny fottstep, coming from the cabin to the very spot her stood. then away agin. They ended at the lake.
He strained his eyes, looking out to the lake. Then he saw her. A girl. Floating. Just floating on the waters surface. her blue hair bellowing out behind her. She was sloating in circles, mostlikly because she wanted to.
The boy almost fell to his knees. Almost ran. But instead she started walking slowly into the water. Towards her.

[Serenity]

Serenity felt a disturbence in the water. She opened her eyes, but otherwise did not move. She waited a few moments, but the quiet sloshing in the water continued.
"Who's there?" She called stadning on the water, showing whoever it was what she could do.
"Answer me." He voice was still wobbily, but not as bad as she was thinking it would be. The memorys still buzzd in her head, stangling her slowly.
A figure, she could see, was making it's way towards her. it was a boy, that much she could tell. nothing else.

[Myrnin]

He heard her voice. That is what kept him going. The sound of her voice. A sound he had missed greatly.
When he was about 50 feet form her, he stopped.
"Serenity." He called quietly, knowing she'd hear him.
"Serenity, it's me. Myrnin."

[Serenity]

Serenity slipped under her ground of water, momentairly losing control, before reagining it. She took half a step towards him.
"Myrnin?" He looked out to him. "It can't be. You've been gone for months..."

[Myrnin]

"well..." He started to respond. "Who says once you leave, you can't return?" He finished.
"Besides...I forgot a few things here wehn I left." He said somewhat shy and quietly...

[Clarisse]

Serenity just barley heard him. But what he did say made her smile. But then it faded.
"You left. You left without a word. without anything! You left, and I died. And I don't mean figuritivly speaking." She blurted out. Clear, shiny tears sprung in her eyes, and she hoped she was still to far away form him to see, and if not, that i was too dark out.
"you just.....left me."

[Myrnin]

He shook his head. "Never. I never wanted to. But I thought you had made your choice and I didn't want to complicate things..." He bent his head down and glaced up at her. IN the process he saw the moon glinting off of somthing she was wearing.

Serenity shook her head, wanting to believe him so badly, but she didn't know what to say. She brought her hands to her face. While doing so, somthing caught on her shirt. she looked down and saw the braclet. The beautiful dimond studded bracelt Myrnin had made for her so long ago it seemed. She lowed her arms, and looked Myrnin Fully in the face. Eye to eye. SHe made herself float slightly closer and stoped again. She had to be sure.
"There's just one thing I need to know." She whispered. "Do you love me? And will you admit it, and stop running?"

[Myrnin]

Myrnins eyes widened. She didn't remeber her being so bold. So straighforward...he kinda liked it.
"Well..I uh....: He took a breath and ran one hand down his face. He looked up to her, seeing her beautiful face lit up in the moonlight.
"yes. I do. I love you Serenity." He blurted out, her beauty carpturing him. He looked down and back.
"And yes. I Promise to never run away again," He finished sliently.
