- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - >> jatta walked along the edge of the beach, the sun beating down on her and keeping her warm, seeing as it was winter. Her bottoms, flannel jogging pants that were too big enough to just barely hug her waist, falling low enough to reveal a strip of material at the top of her black panties, were completely dry, even though the water that hadn't frozen came very close to splashing against them. Her top was nothing: a coral-colored string tank top that sometimes pulled up to reveal a strip of skin at her lower stomach. Being a werewolf, the cold wasn't usually something that bothered her.
>> her bare feet left prints in the sand, but the prints were soon washed away by the water the tide brought gently towards the shore. It was hardly warm enough to be out here, let alone in what Jatta was wearing. The chilling breeze blew past her several times, and each time it brought her to fixing her hair that kept being blown out of place. Her black and violet eyes were slightly squinted as well: everything was white or a bright grey, besides the bare bark on the trees in the nearby forest, and it was too bright for her eyes. She disliked the winter, and that would never change.
>> jatta stopped walking, and threw the shoes, a pair of grey Converse Chuck Taylors, that she had held in her hands far from the shore as to not get them wet. She slipped off her top and bottoms, to reveal her black undergarments as being a bikini top and bottom. With her clothes set away from the shore on a rock she happened to come across, she jumped up onto another rock beside it and saw a cliff, not too far above the water. Teleporting to the top of the cliff she found, Jatta looked down from the edge of the cliff.
>> it would be an easy thing, to jump off the cliff. And somehow, her situation seemed vaguely familiar, though she could not tell when from. Jatta took in a breath, ready to face the cold torrents of water that waited below. Why a polar dip seemed a good idea to her in the middle of winter, nobody would know. Instantly, she took a step back, and leaped off the cliff, pulling up her legs to her body in a ball before hitting the water.
>> as she hit the water, an immediate, intense wave of stinging coldness rippled through her body. It was one of the few, rare times she was truly cold. Jatta defied her body's calls to freeze, and she swam far out until the cold was nonexistent and her blood flowed through her body enough to warm an entire house for a week. It was a mind that brought her to the surface, however. A mind had found hers and connected while she was busy warming herself. She looked towards the shore, and saw nothing along it that may have been humanoid in the least.

Jose: xXxCold..the air was harsh more so here by the lake.Jose levitated at the bottom of a cliff, just above the sharp point of rocks that outcropped from the almost frozen water. He sat, just staring at the endless white, mind trying to be as blank as the landscape. He raised the chilled silver flask to his mouth, his lips sticking slightly to the rim but the rum inside set them free. He was drunk that much as clear, no sober-or sane- person would be there as he was, just in swimming trunks and was getting even more plastered as time went on.
xXx Unsuccessful with clearing his mind he floated over to the shore passing a stone with clothes on it. Now on his feet he stumbled over to it and nudged it with his toe expecting maybe for it move on its own. Nothing. Bored he continued on till he heard a splash. His attention turned back to the lake but nothing was disturbed, still he remained staring at it. your gong insane his mind whispered to him. He was about to agree with it when a figure emerged from the icy waves.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - >> when Jatta failed to catch sight of anyone, or anything, she dismissed the thought as nothing, a mere illusion of the mind. So, shivering uncontrollably for the first time in her life, she used her elemental powers to heat up the water around her enough to warm her freezing body. She waded in the same spot for at least five minutes, until she felt it would be absolutely necessary to find the hot spring somewhere among the cliffs. It was carved out of rock, the opening underwater. She knew that it was more of Apollo's kids hideout, and she was never told the location, only rumors that it ever existed.
>> jatta to a deep breath before heading down under the water. Her open eyes stung, the cold causing it, so she was made to blink at least five times as much as she normally would have. It was hard looking for the underground hot spring with her sight, so she relied on the sounds the current brought to her. It was annoyingly difficult, considering sound could barely travel through water whatsoever. But eventually, she had con across a splashing sound, indicating something cave-like. She followed the sound for several minutes, but stopped again to look around. Again, a strong humanoid presence was close, but she could not tell from where.

xXx Captivated by the figure he started towards it only to see it slip back under the waves."ihollaa..ish anyonee there?" He called out, words slurring. Nothing emerged from the water. His bare feet shuffled forward and when his toes reached the slap of the waves he yelped and took a step back.Jose frowned at the cold wave, took another sip from hs flask then wadded into the freezing lake.
xXxThe icy cold blasted through his brain making his muscelles lock up,making him stop breathing. The water level was to his neck now and he just stood there until slowly the hazyness cleared from his mind and he was sober enough to realize that if he didn't do something he was probally goingto die.For a moment he considered doing nothing, thinking that maybe death wasn't such a bad thing but he snapped out of it and used his powers to heat his body and the water surrounding him.He kicked off the sand and began to swim, arms moving in powerful arcs.
xXxHe floated still for a moment where he last saw the figure then believing he scared it off he decided to find a more natural source of heat.still clutching his vice in his hand he unscrewed the cap, took a swig, put the cap back on and headed towards the hot springs. When he first arrived at camp half-blood it was in the summer, a more reasonable time to be swimming in the lake, and a sibbling from his cabin, Harold, had showed it to him. Of course it took him longer then normal to reach this haven like cave, impaired as he was, but he made it. On his swim to th springs he ahd thought he had saw the figure again but with the water blurring his vision he dismissed it fr a rock or a shadow.Jose's hea rose from the surface and he looked around the familar cave, steam rising from the water. He slowly made his way to an edge and rested his back against it.The ground level was higher where he was, gradualy getting lower near the entrnce but because he was on the other side his muscular chest, beaded with water, stayed above the water.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - >> when she had seen the figure enter the cave, the first thing she thought was no who they were, but why anybody besides her would be out here. They had noticed her, but dismissed her as she did them the first time she had noticed their presence. She watches them enter the cave, and then she really thought about it. Jose? was her first thought, and she waded in the same spot for a few moe minutes, thinking about it. Afterwards, she finally decided to go over and find him, if it was him.
>> it took her, at the most, five minutes to reach the opening of the hot spring cave, and another two to swim up the opening to where the water finally ended. Sure, she may be super-human, but she was no daughter of Poseidon. Holding her breath for seven minutes? Impossible. So about a minute through the first five she created a bubble of oxygen around her mouth and nose, allowing her to breath for a set amount of time before having to replenish it.
>> once she was about halfway above the water, she immediately looked around for Jose. She had immediately seen him standing against a wall(?) and she stepped out from the water onto the dry rock between the pit of steaming water and the cold water of the entrance.

( i pictured it basicly a curved rock room with a pool of water for a floor lol but yeah that works too ) xXxJose walked to edge of the cool stone, then sat down feet sinking into the hot spring.Lazily he turned his attention toward the sound of dripping water."Ohh...so'yer the rock?"He said to Jatta referring to his eariler assumption of her.Jose nodded took a sip of rum and slipped into the hot water. The water here was only waist heigh, his torso visible. Jose shook his head water dropplets flyng from hs hair. xXx Jose leaned against the edge of steamy water, the warm rock scratching his back slightly. He rested his arms on the ledge of the rock behind him."Come on in."He said to her."How'd yeah find out about this place?"Eyelids partly closed

(nope. Hot springs usually don't work that way. Plus there has to be a separation between the lake water and this water. I'll send an explanation pm.) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - >>
>> she watched Jose sit down into the steaming water, and raised an eyebrow at what he had first said. "Rocks don't float in the water, Jose," she told him as she walked over to where he was. She walked into the hot spring water and sat down in it, a meter and a half away from where Jose has sitting. When he asked her about how she had found out about this place, she answered with a "I know everything Jose. Nothing about camp is really a secret to me anymore."
>> jatta slunk down further into the hot water, so that is reached just below her collar bones. She crossed her arms, and looked around the rocky cave. She could see the thin wisps of stem rising from the water, reflecting off the rock walls that were polished by the constant steam flow. She then turned her head to Jose, her black and violet eyes slightly narrowed. Her expression was blank, but her eyes have an intense, frightening look. That was something natural for her now.
