>> a mind with control is like one of a paranoid's: overly at ease yet so uneasy and worryful. So calm yet so jittery. So sane yet so mad. It was as if it was at conflict with itself, never sure what to do. But the most disturbed thing about a controlled mind were the functions. They were the same as an uncontrolled mind. How they're different is so huge, yet so little. Almost as if they were the same.
>> her mind was tearing at itself, panic and tears and laughter and hatred all heard inside. Empathy, the natural thing of her mind, was so much stronger within her at the moment than she could ever imagine. Everything around her she felt. She had taken time to learn how to block it all out over her many years at home. She learned to ignore. But it was never easy to block out everything. The things closest to her she felt the strongest. And when she heard the rabid, psychotic mind tearing itself apart in the infirmary, she had let the ignorance die. It blasted her mind, wave after wave of overwhelming emotion. It was harder to endure than being hit in the head with a sledge hammer, and Maranwë did not close her eyes. Closing them would bring sight to everything, and would force her to succumb to their cries, losing all and any control over herself she may of had.
>> it was in the forest the insanity cried out from. To not go to it would probably be suicide. She could try to help deal with it and therefor gain ignorance once again without the sharp cries from so close pounding at her mind, or she could stay and likely deal with the constant head pains for quite a while. So she made her way from the pine tree at the top of a hill, where she searched with her mind to find the demented half-mortal. Her search ceased and attention wavered as a wave of dizziness flashed over her. The person was close, she could feel. Her stepping was anything but sure with the dementia pounding at her mind, but she continued on, searching for the source of agony.
>> maranwë attempted to penetrate the mind of the person, wherever they may be. But like any other with a strong mental force, they rebelled. Both consciences pushed against each other. Maranwë yelled out in her mind "Utinam auxilium!" to mean "I only wish to help!"(for the mind understands all languages, seeing as the person is capable to learn any language) with an un-understandable force, hoping it would allow the person to open up their conscience to her. Although she did wish to help this person, it wasn't for any selfless reason. She disliked the constant pounding in her head that had suddenly occurred and wished it to end. For only then would she be able to regain ignorance.
