Hai New Girl

[Konata]

I walked into the room quietly, my Converse sneakers creaking the floorboards. My dirty-blonde hair was all over my face. I was wearing a forest green T-shirt with jean shorts. I put my black trunk down and looked around the cabin. No one was in there accept me and all seemed pretty serene. Ha, I didn't like quietness. Mainly because I was surrounded by music. Well this was my home at least for now.

[Amber]

"Hey." A bubbly voice entered the cabin. "I'm Amber. You are?" I raised my eyebrwos as I awaited a response.

[Konata]

I turned around to see the girl. "Konata," I smiled putting out my hand.

[Amber]

My blue eyes flickered down to her hand and then back up to her eyes. "Well, Konata, welcome to camp half-blood. Where you do nothing." I rolled my eyes and let out a laugh. "Anyways, where you from? You like hoops?"

[Konata]

"Yeah I guess. I like archery better than anything but mainly baseball. Hey, you don't look like a person who doesn't do sports!" I laughed not rudely.

[Amber]

I shrugged and gave a small smile, "Looks aren't everything. Well, they are but, urm. . what I mean is: Looks can deceive you." I smiled again. "So, an archer, eh?"

[Konata]

"Yeah my dad taught me," I bent down to tie my sneaker and when I came back up I continued to talk, "Speaking of parents who are yours?"

[Amber]

"Aphrodite and George." I said simply. Nothing more than that. I had no reason to tell her of my past.

[Konata]

"Of course Artemis," I laughed before becoming silent. I was adopted...

[Amber]

My eyes softened, "Are you alright, Konata?" I put my newly manicured hand on her ragged shoulder.
