I stumbled on my own two feet as Luchia and I neared the border. I silenly prayed we wouldn't be ambushed. My prayers were not answered. A huge bronze dragon stood at the gate. "Oh my gawd." Balck spots appeared and I fell.

I silently jumped from tree to tree. I saw two girls through my lime green eyes. Oh no I thought as I watched one fall to the ground. I watched, not helping at all, frozen to the moment.

I looked at my fainted sister and smiled weakly at the creepy-looking creature. "Uh, hi there..." I mumbled. I looked at it as it charged toward me. I squealed and took out a bow and arrow that was in my bag. I shot at it, hitting it in the chest, but the arrow had no effect. My eyes grew large as it started toward me again. I kicked Ange, and she woke up, startled, but awake. I shot at the dragon once more, but, again, it had no effect. "It's all yours," I mumbled to a dazed Ange.

Realizing it was metal I knew we were screwed. Shaking violently I stepped forward. "Hey fella. How ya' doing?" My voice cracked and I silently prayed that someone would help.

I waited so silently that no one noticed. I went invisible in a second. I creeped up behind the two girls and stood in complete silence. The dragon never heard me as I whispered silently to the girls, "Let me handle this," before they could figure out what the voice was I was starting to circle the dragon. The dragon seemed to start to calm as I circled it.

I wondered why the dragon was calming. I coughed loudly and looked at the dragon that I named FiFi. I whispered to Ange. "That is FiFi. He is my dragon." I whispered to her while I watched the dragon.

"No! FiFi was silver, you dumbo!!!" I whispered. I watched the girl circle the dragon, I slowly took another step. The dragon snarled and I ran to hide behind Lucia.

As I circled it more I looked up into the trees. I have been through these gates. This dragon knows me. I soon became in front of the girls, letting the dragon tower over me. It looked down to me, as I looked up at it. "Can I pass?" I asked softly. The dragon calmed down enough to move over. I led the girl around it, but the seemed to shrink under the dragon's glaring eyes.

I pushed Ange out from behind me. "Ange. Go." I pushed her ahead. I looked up at FiFi. "Hey, Fif, I'll be back." I whispered to the large dragon. It looked at me calmly and it almost looked like it nodded. Maybe I imagined it. Anyway, I followed Ange and the other chick into the camp. "I could've fought it." I told the girl that wasn't Ange. "I could've killed it. But, I mean, It's my pet. I named t FiFi." I whispered to her. God, I had always had too big a heart for killing things. Tears glistened in my eyes as we walked away from FiFi.

I spun around to face Lucia. I shook her violently, "Lucia! That's not Fifi!" i took a breath and stared into her eyes. We both had a deep bond with FiFi. "FiFi was silver. The only reason that dragon was calm was because of that girl!" I pointed at our savior.
