Rules of uploading backgrounds:
A lot of people are failing to understand, or plainly just don’t wish to follow the rules on uploading backgrounds. The rules are simple, if you did not make ALL the art on the background yourself then do not upload it. If you are found to be uploading pictures not your own work they will be deleted, you will be warned, and you face your uploading privileges being removed.
Taking pictures from the Internet, or from any other source, then modifying them, does not count as your own work.
Advice to members bidding on backgrounds:
If it appears the artwork may not be the members own work, do NOT place a bid. If you buy a background that is not the artist work, that background at some point WILL be deleted, and it will disappear from you background inventory without compensation. Only bids currently in the auction can be returned if the background is deleted.
Reporting backgrounds:
If you see a background that is not the artist work, report it by clicking on “Start Auction/join auction”, then ” Report this background”. Fill out your reasons, and any links that may help, then press “File Report”
I hope this will help people understand the rules of uploading images.
