because she faionted, and fell to the floor, the glass around her cut into her skin, making her bleed around herself,. She lay still in a pool of blood.

He knew that he shouldn't go to her.But it was because she had hurt hinm that he simply had to go,if for nothing else at least for a explaination.Breathing still in sharp painful breaths he got up his arm bleeding slightly and walked slowly to Serenitys cabin.
"serenity!"He cried forgetting all about himself when he reached her bloody andstill.It was so much like his vison...Shes not dead! His mind screamed and her breathing just confirmed that.Cutting his palms and knees on the glass he cradled her to him,brushing hair out of her face.
"serenity,come on wake up"He said gently realising she was just passed out.

her eyes fluttered slightly for a moment, and then opened half way. She wasn't fully consious and was going to pass out again, that much was clear. But beore she did, she managed to say one thing. "I free'd you. I'm sorry if it hurt you - if I did...but you deserve to be free." her eyes slid shut again.

Jose slipped his hands under her limp body and stood up carrying her.Walking over glass he placed her gently on her bed,then found a broom and cleaned up the broken rose shards,tossing them in a near by trash can.Jose then went into the bathroom and got a emergancy kit and awet washclouth.He romoved all the glass from Serenity,cleaning and wiping the wounds then placed bandaids over them.When he finished he put away the medical things,placing a wet washclouth over her forehead.He sat on the end of her bed watching her.
"Breaking a gift from me wont free me....besides..idont want to be."He leaned over kissing her forehead then stood up heading towards the cabin door.
