Alex looked at her unsure about something but nodded slightly. "I'm glad you understand..." He said before he pulled her in for another hug. He closed his eye and smiled slightly, for some reason he liked it that she was in his arms. He didn't know how to explain it but he felt comfortable holding her close.

She smiled but it faded"And everyone should....we've all made choices were not proud of...chices that we had no real conrol over...."Mannah eyes squezzed tight then whisperd"choices that aren't good......."Mannah sucked in a ragged breath but relaxed in Alexs arms....she felt safe there.Unexplainable?yes.Unreasonable?Yes.but none the less she not only felt safe in his arms,she liked being in them.

Alex touched Mannah's cheek gently and looks at her with sad eyes. "Mannah..." He whispered her name, his voice sounding slightly sad.

Mannah:She smiled a small smile,her skin tingled where his hands touched.Mannah looked into Alexs gloomy eye ,she was so close she could she her reflection."i've done some things in the past that im not proud of...... and some of the things i'am proud of...well i shouldn't be."Mannah ran her fingers through his hair."But although the past can haunt us we can't let it rule our future...we have to live in the here and now."Her smile still small but true.

Alex smiled a little. "Your right... We have full control of what we do and how we act about it..." He said as his eye looked with her eyes. He leaned a little forward a lightly brushed his lips with hers then gently kissed her. He broke away and sighed quietly. He looked down then closed his eye. "I'm sorry... I didn't..." He tailed off with a soft voice still not looking at her.

Mannah blood boiled beneth her skin turned her cheeks scarlet.She exhaled slowly then leaned forward placing her hand on Alex's cheek making him face her even if he wasn't looking at her.Mannah whisperd their faces a inch apart"alex...dont be"she closed the distance and pressed her lips agansit his.

Mannah:She let herself be pulled in smiling.Mannahs life has been survial of the fittest and her motto was to never trust anyone.Mannah never let her self be distracted by a boy nevermind get close enogh to one to kiss him.She hadn't realised till now how much she craved to be with someone...for someone to hold her or treat her with any kindness.Mannah wrapped her arms around his neck.She pulled back then rested her head on his chest.

Alex smiled warmly at her. He never had this feeling towards a girl. Not even at his old private school, where the girls looked beautiful. He never thought he would ever get a date with a girl, let alone even kiss one. But that didnt matter anymore. All he wanted to do was hold Mannah in his arms and tell her that he liked her... well it was more like love but he couldn't explain why. After all this was there second meeting and it ended up like this. Which he really didn't mind at all. He hugged her tightly and rested his head on her's gently. He took a deep breath then let it out slowly.
