Serenity strood along the shore, watching her feet as she walked. Silent tears streamed along her face, splating against the sand. Her shoulders shuddered as she hunched over, and finaly sat down. The only thing she real prosessed in her mind other then her aunts death, and Jose's concern, was that she was sitting out behind the Athena cabin, yet infront of the lake. She hid her face between her knees, and continued sobbing

Kayen and another boy had be talking and walking around calmly. The boy didnt notice Serenity but Kayen noticed her quickly. "Hey i'll be right back." He said looking at the boy. He ran over to where Serenity was and knelt down next to her. He touched her back lightly not to scare her. "Serenity? Whats wrong?" He said looking at her worriedly.

She looked up at him, uncaring of her wet face.
"Y-you remember what I told you about m-my sister? M-Matilda?" She finaly got out.
"W-well she's here..B-because our only aunt that was still living...I-is dead." she broke down again, burrying her face into her knees.

"Oh im so sorry Serenity..." He looked at her sadly and hugged her tightly. "But its going to be ok..." He said as he rubbed her back gently.
The boy watched from where he was unsure what to do.

She shook her head. "Thats only p-part of it. With M-Matilda here, Hades will use her against me.."

"But i'll stop him from doing it." Kayen said as he kept rubbing her back. "As i said... Its going to be ok..." He said, his voice soothing.

She sobbed into his sholder. "I dont know what to do! Hades is going to tyr to hurt eveyr one I love.. And you cant protect them all and yourself."

"I don't want you or your help to get hurt either though!" her voice was strained out, and she looked exaughsted from all the pressure.

"Serenity. Im an Ares child. We always get hurt. And im going to be ok. So is my help." He said noticing she looked more tired the he ever saw her. "You should get some rest for now... Alright." He said wiping away some of the tears.
